Must See

The Eiffel Tower - The monument that symbolizes Paris, and France for that matter. You can’t go to Paris without paying a visit here! Between dusk and 2am there’s an incredible 10 min lights show on the hour, every hour.

The Champ Elysee - Enjoy fighting through massive amounts of tourists and wealthy Parisians whilst you walk up and down the 2km stretch of upscale boutiques in one of Paris’s richest area.

The Arc Du Triumph - Another iconic Parisian sight, The Arc is located at the end of the Champs Elysee and splat in the middle of a 12 road junction called Place Charles De Gaulle, it’s much larger than you think it’s going to be.

Sacre Coeur Basilica - The Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Paris has amazing architecture inside. You can also climb to the top of the dome which allows tourists amazing views of the entire city.

Notre Dame Cathedral - Notre Dame is France’s most visited attraction, beating out the Eiffel tower, and it’s easy to see why. It is easily one of Paris’s most beautiful buildings, if Gothic architecture is your thing then you’ll in for a treat.

As Many Bakeries & Cafe’s as possible - Paris is famous for their cuisine. Try the baguettes, crepes or just about any international dish!

The Palace of Versailles: A full day trip from Paris, The Palace at Versailles is one of the most popular and magnificent attractions in all of France. It served as the capital of France for over 100 years. It’s inspiring architecture, and beautiful gardens are an inspiring sight for tourists from all over the world. Visiting this awe-inspiring palace offers an insight into France’s incredible history.

The Louvre: Overlooking the Siene river and home to the Mona Lisa amongst other world famous sculptures and paintings. Reputedly the biggest museum in the world so prepare to get lost inside. Even if you’re not an art person, you’ll need at least few hours set aside for this visual feast.

 

Nightlife

Paris is packed with bars, bistros, late night venues of all kinds, places to jam to live music and top night clubs. Nightlife in Paris is an experience every backpacker should get a taste of. In Paris there is a nightlife venue to suit ever backpackers interest. There are loads of clubs where you can get dressed up and go dancing. Bars and pubs can be found all over the city.
